45 Labourers from from saudi arabia come back at Rajasthan


As many as 45 labourers from Rajasthan, who were stranded in Saudi Arabia due to the ongoing financial crisis there, have reached home.They arrived in New Delhi last night and as per instructions from Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, arrangements were being made to ferry them to their respective destinations in Rajasthan Roadways buses.The labourers hail from various places in the state, including Jaipur, Bikaner and Hanumangarh.According to Additional Resident Commissioner Vimal Sharma, the labourers will be paid Rs 1,000 each from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.Besides, the cost of bus tickets, refreshments during the journey and if necessary, stay in Delhi, will be borne by the state government, he added.Sharma said this was the biggest contingent of labourers from the state to arrive from Saudi Arabia during the ongoing crisis, adding that so far, around 95 of them have returned to
the country.


26000 people resque in flood : NDRF


More than 26,400 people have so far been rescued by the NDRF from the flood-ravaged areas in Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and other states.The National Disaster Response Force has fanned out 56 rescue and relief teams to help people hit by heavy rains in various states and tasked two Deputy Inspector GeneSo far, the NDRF teams have evacuated more than 26,400 people from various flood-prone areas in the country this monsoon season.

Kanwarias step on 'meat' in city




Over 30 'kanwarias,' devotees of Shiva who go on annual pilgrimage to sacred places like Haridwar on foot, created a ruckus in Ramganj market on Monday after one them allegedly stepped on some left over pieces of meat outside a non-vegetarian eatery. According to police, the kanwarias were coming from Galta Ghat area and had entered Ramganj market on Monday morning. One of them allegedly stepped on a piece of meat and started shouting slogans and blocked the road near Ladli Ji Ka Chauraha.
